Hello. I have a 2002 Cannondale R400 and I am thinking about replacing the fork so I can use a threadless stem instead of the quill stem it has now. This 2002 model year was when it was orange colored. Does anyone know the steerer tube diameter for that model? Thanks.

Do you know which part of the combination of letters and numbers is the actual serial number itself? I want to register my bike on the cannondale website but when I entered the longest string of alpha-numeric characters (the 6 number 2 letter 5 number thing) it said the serial number was invalid.

The serial number is on the underside of the frame where the bottom bracket is, right underneath the bottom bracket. It is a 2002 Cannondale R400.
