They’re not twins, but at least siblings—these two Cannondale Killer V900s. The one in front belongs to a friend, the one behind is mine. And since this guy has a habit of buying bikes, taking them apart, polishing them nicely, but then getting sidetracked and never putting them back together anytime soon, I stepped in this time and took matters into my own hands so that a rideable bike would finally come out of it again. The front Killer V is still largely in its original condition...

Cannondale M800 from 1992. I was there at the time, advising a friend when he bought this bike. Some time ago, he had a serious crash with it and was convinced the frame had been damaged as a result. That’s why he gave it to me. But it turned out that the frame was completely fine. At first, I built it up for my wife, but she couldn’t get along with the “Best of the East” geometry. The currently installed time-[ATTACH...

F600 Furio frame that needed some TLC.
I got this bike used and would like some help figuring out the model year. The serial number is MM45768. Just love this one with the DX2 shifters and the Zipp wheels Appreciate the help!

I originally picked up this Killer V for a friend, but he didn’t want it in the end because of the condition. So I kept it. When I bought it (€50), it still had a Marzocchi XC500 on the front (horrible fork) with a 1 1/8" headset. That meant I needed a Pepperoni fork and a proper headset. I ended up buying a few forks, including one with a 1 1/4" steerer. One of the most importnat things-the blue chainrings-were thankfully still there! The scratched-up Coda cranks I swapped out for a...

The M700 has gone through a series of developments. I was gifted the frame, the saddle and the Coda brakes. In the meantime, the second fork has been installed, as the steerer tube of the first one was too long. I converted the rear Shimano LX hub to a larger freehub so thatit now accomodates a 9 speed cassette. The 3x9 thumbshifters are from Sunrace, the purple rims are from Shogun ( Shogun Zero, 390gr!, made in Australia). The purple bar also comes from Shogun ( Shogun Dynax) The current...

This is one of my latest projects. The project was kind of forced on me, because one of my spanish Instagram buddies just send me this 3.0 frame out of the blue. So I had to make something out of it. First, of course, I needed to get a Pepperoni fork! Then i polished the frame as best I could. It shows a lot of signs of a hard life! I also gave a fresh Cannondale decal. According to the serial number, the frame was welded in March 1993. That usually means it would have been in stores in...

I've bee riding this Super V1000 for quite some time. Currently it's assembled from components of three different donor bikes. Both the rear swingarm and the fork featured IS mounts for disc brakes, which allowed me to convert the bike to full disc brake setup. On the main frame I modified the shock mount by shortening it and fitted a longer Fox rear shock with 165mm eye-to-eye length. Braking power is provided by a Magura MT5, which offers a very strong brake power

This bike is bone stock and in mint condition. I found it in Indianapolis 8 years ago.
