    Looking for a model

It doesn't sound like a Cannondale. The Rock-a-dile was a Mongoose model, and from what I can tell, the top tube was rather triangular and the downtube was a rounded rectangle. It was similar to their cross-country racing MTBs, the IBOC series. And example of a Mongoose Rock-dile...

Another in Tulsa - Derailleur Hanger Broken?

I'm not sure on that bike, but my 1996 has a replaceable hanger that's secured with two M3 cap screws. I'd imagine the one for sale would be the same. It's hard to tell from the low-quality photos.

Another in Tulsa - Derailleur Hanger Broken?

Price now down to $50. It's getting harder and harder to resist buying it. I don't need another road bike though.

    Two on Tulsa Craigslist 2026/07/23

I saw one on Craigslist down in Texas for around $500 that looked pretty nice. Too far and too much, though, considering my current state of unemployment.

    Tandem seen on Ragbrai

AKA "it's not enough to show up, you have to show out"? ;-)

    Tandem seen on Ragbrai

Not a fan of the paint, the pink accents, or the splatter. Looks like an expensive rebuild, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Another in Tulsa - Derailleur Hanger Broken?

https://www.craigslist.org/view/d/tulsa-cannondale-road-bike/963bZZfo8hextCKofs9vwk Poster says "broken frame at the derailleur". Looks to me like the replaceable hanger sheared off. Older, smallish Cannondale. 105 rear derailleur and downtube shifters. Aero bars and Look-style clipless pedals...

    2004 Cyclocross disc

Oh, man! Good-looking bike. I've been toying with the idea of a cyclocross bike. I probably should just get a cheap older MTB for noodling around the neighborhood and such. The R600 is still on the trainer, still getting used 4-5 times a week. Getting stronger is a slow process....

    Two on Tulsa Craigslist 2026/07/23

Looking on eBay, most of the aluminum-era Super Vs I see are asking much lower prices, but not all. I saw a few for over $1,000, but most are well under that. The carbon-fiber Ravens are still fetching high prices ($1,100 and up). I don't know why, but somehow the fact that the seller took a...

    Two on Tulsa Craigslist 2026/07/23

Two on Craigslist here in Tulsa. Newer ad is for a 1986 ST-500, 23", $235: https://www.craigslist.org/view/d/broken-arrow-st-500-cannondale-touring/9rHqv5rCXXVJ2V4XgJvKYm Also, a 1986 SR1000, not a Black Lightning, but a Black Lightning frame with Dura-Ace components, 54cm, $400, no pictures...

Scored a Park Tool repair stand this week!

Oh, I told the guy at the local bike shop about my steal of a deal, and he had to show off their new acquisition - two of the Park PRS-30 Mechanical Lift repair stands. They have been dealing with more e-bikes, so they needed heavy-duty hardware. The PRS-30 has a capacity of up to 120 lbs, and...

Scored a Park Tool repair stand this week!

I did discover one thing - the seller didn't have a lot of patience. I downloaded the user's manual for the PCS-10, and discovered that the plastic leg clip was put on at the top of the stand, rather than at the bottom where it should be. I had to take the clamp off to swap it around. It folds...

    Another Project/Craislist Wichita Falls, TX.

Geez, where are people getting these long legs? I feel cheated - when I bought my first "bike shop" bike, a Trek 400, the shop guy measured me with his FitKit and said I had the torso length of a guy 6' 2" and the leg length of someone 5' 8".

Ah, okay. I thought it might be close to you, Johnny. It's about four hours drive for me, so not really worth it. The search for a "putter around the neighborhhood" bike continues....

Looks to be a 1996 F700 in Speed Yellow with a Headshok from a different model (Mango in color). It actually looks okay that way, IMO. The 1996 did come with Headshok, so it's period-correct. https://wichitafalls.craigslist.org/bik/d/henrietta-mid-1990s-cannondale-caad3/7930937628.html
