I have some history with Cannondale back in the early 1990s. I worked at Volvo Cars of North America responsible for sports marketing. I approached Cannondale's Scott Montgomery when I heard that they were looking for a mountain bike racing team sponsor. The rest, I guess, is history. What a ride and exciting time for me as the team got better and better.
This bike pictured in my avatar was built for me in '95 I think with a carbon fiber crank. That crank helped us identify the bike after it was stolen while my son had it in Boise, Idaho. It was gone for 6 months when our constant scanning of Craigslist paid off. The Boise police helped us reacquire our bike and arrested the theief.
