SOLD: 1988 Cannondale Criterium frame/fork Like New

Evidently a 1988. Guessing from the white cable guides that it was an SR1000, as the Sante components were painted white. The 1988 catalog shows the riveted on derailleur cable stop on the chainstay and this frame has the welded on stop, so that must have been a change made after the catalog...

    1991 SM1000 Marketplace find

Looks to be a 1991. One of the few SunTour equipped bikes I've seen with GripShift.

    Please add Avatar photo.

Some changes happened after Cannondale took over the site. I don't see the avatar option now.

Those Mavic hubs are really nice.

    SM800 restoration project

Is the derailleur only an issue when in the small chainring? If so I would think you could shift to the middle ring before you get to the smaller cassette cogs.

    Bowling Green Mountain Bike

The eBay listing shows it restored, but no good detail shots. He says new SunTour parts but I can't tell what model he used. 1987 SM400/500 would have had Alpha 3000 with a Sugino VP crank. Sorry but I can't help with the Bowling Green angle.

The F800 is too nice to leave locked up in a high theft area.

    '94 Super V

I was thinking more about the high and low gear ratios compared to a traditional 22/32/42 and 11-30 setup. Most of MTB rides involve some pavement riding, although I don't know how much time I spend in the 42/11 combination. Working from the low gear combination, 22/30 is roughly equal to 36/50.

    '94 Super V

What size chainring are you going to run? I've yet to try a 1X setup or even a double on a MTB.

I wonder what that loaded trailer weighed.

    Delta V600 Stem

The closest thing I have here is the one on my SR500. I believe it's 5 degrees and 115 mm. Will text my friend in STL and see if there's a shorter one there. I have a drop bar on the Silk Road but I couldn't get close enough to the bike to measure the bar diameter. It could be 25.4 or 26.0.

    1998 Super V 600 Updgrades

Same here. I have two much newer Super V projects that I can't find time to work on.

I need a mailbox like this..

Reminds me of the mailbox base I saw near the WI border made out of a cast iron Oliver tractor grill. That seems more practical to me. Snowplow regularly knocks my mailbox into the ditch. Would hate to lose a Cannondale that way.

    Delta V600 Stem

Is the stem for a Headshok fork? I purchased several from a bike shop in St. Louis and had a friend pick them up for me. I still need to get down there and pick them up and don't remember what angles/lengths they are. I might have one here on a frameset but I think it has more angle than 5...
