Top of the line at the time originally a Dura Ace 9 bike. Last year of CAAD3 being top of the line. I built this with a flat bar for a friend to try. He liked it but ended up buying a steel Trek from me instead. Never bothered to change it drop bars.
I don't know much about Team Riley but assume it was Los Angeles based, as the frame has Helen's Cycles on the chain stay. Another Campagnolo build on a frameset purchased very slightly used. Need to check the frame to see if the year is correct.
My first new road bike, purchased as a frameset on closeout in 2000. Built with Campagnolo Daytona and Ambrosio Excellight rims. Photo is from 2011, may not have ridden it since.
CAAD9, last of the USA built road frames. This would have been a Dura Ace equipped CAAD9 1. I purchased it as a frameset and built it with mostly Campagnolo Centaur 1 and Proton wheels.
DV 900 was originally an LX bike, 3rd in the MTB line in '92 behind the full suspension DV 2000 (XT) and 1000 (XC Comp). I built the frame with a mix of SunTour XC components. It's 8 speed with XC Pro rear and Ringle front hubs with Mavic 230 rims.
