Cannondale Killer with disc brake mounts

Hi,
I found this frame on ebay and took it. But I am still wondering which frame it is. Here is a photo: https://imgur.com/a/Vir8NdZ
The Cannondale Logo is a more recent one, which would (according to this site) place its production date after 2000.
The Serial number on the frame is something like this:
?? B10-030 0521
17942 7FA5NS
(I am not 100% it the ?? actually represent letters. I didn't want to scrape off the laquer).

I looked in the old Catalogs on this site, but I couldn't find any cannondale Killer with a disc-brake mount on it. Searching on the internet I found some references to Cannondale Killers with disc-brake mounts, but they are actually different (The mounts are placed on the stem from the rear-axle to the saddle, mine is placed on the part that connects the rear axle to the bottom bracket part).

Does anyone have some information on this frame?

I want to rebuild this bike. Ideally I would use a hub gear, but today someone at a bike shop told me that the frame doesn't really support it (since The Chain would likely have too little tension). I want to have a city-bike that has little need of maintainance (therefor the hub gear). I live in a fairly flat city, so no need of huge amounts of gears really.
Also I am fairly new to all this (building a bike, parts, etc. I repaired a little in the past but just the basics) , that's why I made an account here :D (Hello!!!) So maybe there will be some additional questions in the next weeks...

Your ?? letters are likely the date code, so that's a good starting place. There were a few models where the Killer V frame was used only in the smallest sizes, but it seems to me that was before 2000. There were European models that don't show up in the USA catalogs, so you could have one of those.

I think there were a couple of spring loaded chain tensioners made but I don't recall the brands. I really don't see any need to base the build around an internally geared hub. People have been riding bikes with derailleurs for years in conditions worse than you will ever see in Berlin. I'd just do a simple build with mid level Shimano parts and your choice of a single, double, or triple crankset.

Thanks Len. I looked at the 1999 catalogs and that year all F series models (CAAD2, 3, 4) in size small came with KV frames. Also in the "version 1" 1999 catalog you can see caliper mount tabs on the fork of the CAAD2 KV700. I can't tell if the frame has caliper mounts but I suspect that it does not. In the 2000 model year, only the F300 and F400 CAAD2 size small frames were KV style. No sign of caliper mounts on them. So my best guess for the OP is that his frame is a 1999 CAAD3 or CAAD4. I suppose it could have somehow been left over from 1999 and painted in a 2000 color, the closest I see in the USA catalog being Candy Apple Red.
