Getting creative... 3D printing parts

My buddy and I recently scored a old 90's Cannondale Tandem and have loved riding it! Its a fast machine (with two triathlon racers) and is mostly original!

I was snooping through a local shop and found an old (what looks to be) 80's Front Mounted Bag with a Kwickfix mount inside. $10 later and I was taking it home!

Little did I know that the mounts were not compatible, and the Cannonade mount was SUPER RARE!

After searching the interwebs, I gave up trying to source a Cannondale mount. With the Klickfix handlebar mount included, I went to the drawing board!

Out of necessity, I designed and 3D printed a mount that bolts to the Cannondale screw pattern and accepts a Klickfix! Using Thingyverse, OnShape Design, and Cura, I was able to 3D print and test it the following day! It is so awesome! It fits perfectly and works smoothly! Check it out!!!

Let me know what you think!
Do you have any ideas and applications for 3D printed parts on your bikes?

Nice job, and a nice looking tandem. Someone should reproduce the plastic dust caps that go on the back of 8/9 speed Campagnolo Ergo levers. I don't know why people remove them but I have a couple of pairs of levers that are missing them. Seem to be impossible to find other than buying broken levers.
