I bought a replacement from cannondale experts for $20.Wondering if you could re-tap to the next larger fractional size. Autozone used to sell small kits of a single size that weren't very expensive.
I haven't found any on bikes yet. It's probably the aircraft mechanic who spend his adult life working on figther jets, but I will NEVER understand why some people think every bolt known to mankind is a strength contest test! It seems even more true when it comes to automotive "mechanics", especially of the shady plant type.
It's like fasteners (screws) for an access panel on a wing. The panel is for aerodynamics. Not for holding the wing to the fuselage. Those little screws don't need to be torqued to 5 white knuckles!I haven't found any on bikes yet.
