I recently purchased this. From the pictures others have thought it is a 2000-2003. Finally got a look at the serial #'s. Anyone help with year, frame, or size?

56 cm and 2001 manufacture. My guess would be a 2002 model since it has the bar code. If 2002 it would have to be a CAAD5 frame. Components and fork details might help determine model but would be R700 Si or above. The R700 was Tiagra, the R900 was 105, and the R2000 was Ultegra. R3000 and above had a carbon steerer on the fork.

Thank you! It has a dura ace rear derailleur and an ultegra front and handle levers.

Assuming an AL steerer I'd call it a 2002 R2000 but it's not a color that shows in the catalog.

I think it’s AL, I noticed the same thing about the color. According to the seller it was an employee purchase?

Could be. Really hard to say. Perhaps a color they were considering using and wanted to see it on a bike? Very similar to a color used in 1985. Wish we had some members who worked at the factory to help with these kinds of questions.

It's a bit hard to tell from the catalog, but it looks like they used a similar color in 2003. Thanks for your help.
