That would be interesting. I used to have a case hardened shotgun. It was almost tiger striped. I think it was an H & R, don't remember what I did with it.
Love the Serottas!Even though I generally prefer color on bikes, I think the white looks good. Pics are my 1991 Serotta NHX in fluorescent pink and orange, and my 1990 Colorado II in pink and onyx. I have two pink Cannondales as well.View attachment 14964View attachment 14965
Thanks. I should attempt to count sometime, but Serotta and Cannondale are roughly equal in numbers in my collection.Love the Serottas!
I run 32T on all my 1x setups with the exception of a 34T oval I have but isn't currently installed on anything now. It was on the F600 until I got the GRX 2x installed on it. I've found that when riding my bikes with 3x setups I spent most of my time riding on the middle chainring which is 32T, so that what I stick with. What size chainring are you going to run? I've yet to try a 1X setup or even a double on a MTB.
To be honest, the #1 reason I like to use 1x setup is that it's a whole lot more simple. The gear ratios aren't radically improved. Cable routing is simplified as well, beyond that there is nothing wrong with 2 or 3x systems.I was thinking more about the high and low gear ratios compared to a traditional 22/32/42 and 11-30 setup. Most of MTB rides involve some pavement riding, although I don't know how much time I spend in the 42/11 combination. Working from the low gear combination, 22/30 is roughly equal to 36/50.
