Rear Disc Mounting alignment? Special adapter or spacing?

Follow up. Had to run some washers to get the alignment where it needed to be. Very strange, but for now it works

Rear Disc Mounting alignment? Special adapter or spacing?

At first I thought it was a brand adapter issue, but now I'm starting to wonder if something else is going on here. I'm running Avid BB7-S MTB Brakes, and made sure to get the matching Sram Disc Adapters. However the bolt alignment on the rear is WAY off. See picture. Anyone else running into...

1999 F2000 Dream Build? Vintage w/ modern twist feedback (Cancelled)

The frame was a bit of a hassle to deal with but overall I was able to break even and make a little bit over what was put into it.

1999 F2000 Dream Build? Vintage w/ modern twist feedback (Cancelled)

Sorry to disappoint, but I actually sold this one off. A size too large and wanted to find a Team Bule instead. I'll start a new post on that one though as my intention has been the same.

    Standard Rotor size?

Yes, it appears it just really depends on the brake you're going to run. If the brake is IS mount then you can get away with no adapters, but most are post mount and require an adapter. BTW I went with 160mm rotors

    Brake post caps?

Wondering what most people use to fill in the hole once the brake posts are removed?

    Standard Rotor size?

Anyone know what the standard rotor size is that you can run without an adapter on disc-compatible frames (like CAAD3/CADD4)? My assumption is 140mm diameter, with the option to run larger via adapters, but wanted to double-check here.

    Super V 500 - What year?

One more question, is there a specific spot I can research as to what shocks I could replace the rear shock with? I'm guess the most important measurements are going to be the eye-to-eye length and any bushings needed for the mounts.

    Super V 500 - What year?

Thanks for the info. I'm learning new things every day :D Didn't realize not all headshoks were air sprung. I guess I should have known but this was the first time I encountered one in person. Kept trying to find the air valve. We took the top cap off, and saw an allen screw underneath, so I'm...

    Super V 500 - What year?

I'm currently looking at this Team Blue one, and it seems like it's a 2001, but in the 2001 catalog it doesn't list team blue as an option (of course it's really hard to read too ). 2000 didn't seem to have a 500 as an available model. Any ideas? Also can anyone tell me about the Headshok...

    Wanted Team Blue 18"

I may keep the wheels, but the rest likely part out individually. Didn't get much interest, and there is a nice Team Blue one available, but a bit out of reach at the moment, so trying to raise funds for it. I didn't see a "delete" option for this thread, is there a better way to mark this as...
