    Super V prototype? value

Only pre 2007 Cannondale has this info. Modern day Cannondale was purchased from the previous owner in 2022. Both companies do not can 1 thing about the past. And I agree, looks like the red V.

    Super V prototype? value

Hello, The early V's had braces by the head tube. My memory of it very foggy. I think this is a standard frame. the F in SN is a 94. There are a few 93's. They are the ones with Purple headsets. Some of those have the brace. For value. It is basically a frame/fork. And a cool XTR rear...

Need help completing identification of 1999 frame/fork

Only old school Cannondale has this info for the full SN. KC is the only info that I have from old school Cannondale: https://vintagecannondale.com/info/serial_numbers/ I have seen before the bottom left LG is Large. But that is not always the case. 99/00 I feel was a screw up years. The...

    Threadless stem adaptor/conversion - opinions?

I see this option if you are going to save the original fork. It might be a better option to go with a modern fork, and full threadless. If you want to keep the original fork. I would probably go with a standard adapter.

Vintage bikes dead in your area or still going?

I feel it is hard to sell my vintage bikes. 2020/21 was the time, and then bikes, cars etc price was destroyed. It is pretty sad I have a few perfect examples of 80's Cannondale. And are they to be recycled if nobody wants them? I posted a 2016 Lefty and it sold in 1 day. I asked the guy if he...

Vintage bikes dead in your area or still going?

Hello, I thought I would open a discussion. Just wondering if vintage bikes are dead in your area? Where I live, Mountain is dead. Road is still alive. I feel my vintage mountain is getting close to just recycling the aluminum. Really sad... Plus, where I live. Cannondale is not popular, and...

    Dead of my frame ???

Hello, This could be the death of this frame. I would take it to somebody who can braise/weld aluminum. They would have to zip up the crack, and sand down the best to make it even. Contact a local motor cycle shop, or auto shop and see if they have a welder for Aluminum.
