Are those shift levers 7 speed? I have a 6 speed pair on a GT MTB that I use to get from farm to farm when I'm moving machinery. The 6 speed shifters work fine. Hope you didn't have much damage from the storm. East coast looks a mess.

The cantilever dropouts were first seen on the 3.0 series frames, introduced on the 1989 models. The OP's bike is older. There were SR500 models with both frame types.

That looks like a 1991 SR600, Cosmic Black with White Web, 7 speed 105SC. Not sure about the Cannondale decal though, the catalog shows the "normal" down tube decal. What's the standover height? I have a friend that might be tall enough to ride it.

That's usually caused by a new chain on a worn cog. I would try replacing the cassette or freewheel with a new one.

It's possible that disc specific CAAD3 frames were made during the 1999 model year, but they don't show in the catalog. Great looking bike no matter what year it is.

Yes, 1999 frames were CAAD4 from F1000 - F3000. 1998 frames were all CAAD3 V brake only, no disc production models. Disc specific frames didn't show up until 2000 and were either CAAD4 or CAAD5.

Is there a paint code number on that bottle? Looks like it would be in the 5000-5021 range of the Valspar paint chips.

Sounds like everything should work. Did you check to be sure bar clamp diameter of the new bar is the same as your stem? Guessing you might need to snag a couple of MTB brake cables, but I don't know those levers.

They both appear to be 1999 model year frames. 1999 F1000 and above were all CAAD4. F900 was CAAD3, had disc and canti mounts, and the Fatty D fork. That's the closest frame/fork combination I see to your two frames. The USA F900 didn't come in Team Blue though. We don't have a 1999...
