I purchased this bike new in October, 1990. It was originally a Chameleon. The frame was warrantied in 1998. The replacement frame is a 1997 CAD 2. British Columbia is unkind to mountain bikes. The only remaining original components are the handlebars, front Suntour XCD derailleur & shifter and the Pepperoni forks. Original components included Richey Vantage rims, Suntour XCD drivetrain. Silk Path 400 that I bought new in 2001. Over the years, I upgraded the brakes, shifters and drivetrain, seat and rims. Nice bike, smooth ride and great paint finish. Cannondale's (Handmade in USA) powder coated paint jobs were the best.
