Bought this bike in 1990 - and refurbished it with new tubes last week. The bike is almost all original equipment with only a new saddle and tubes for the tires!
Fork: Kona Project Two
Crankset: Origin 8 Single Speed 175mm Crank Arms and RaceFace Narrow-Wide Single 38t x 110 Chainring (replaced original Coda 502M 22/32/42), original BB and square taper spindle
Front Derailleur and Shifter: Deleted, changing 3x8 to 1x8 speed
Rear Derailleur Shifter: Shimano Alivio M410 8-Speed (original Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur)
Brakes: overhauled original Shimano Deore XT Direct-Pull V-Brakes...
This F2000 has been with me since July 1998, some updates, but I have most of the original parts still.
Delta V 900 for my son. Mostly urban and light terrain use.

Frameset from UK eBay. Groupset (Sh. Deore) and brakes (Avid 2.0 L) from the drawer, Mavic CrossRoc UST wheels, seatpost Ritchey Superlogic Carbon, saddle Selle Italia C2 from old project, Cannondale stem and Cannondale Fire handlebars from rebuilded F700sl. Salsa grips and bidon. Rubena Scylla Racing Pro 2.1'' Tyres. Weight 10,7 kg.
Still better bike, than new Badboy with Alivio groupset :)
