66cm CAD3. . .1999?

Hi all, I'm new to road biking and the Cannondale community. . . I recently picked up the pictured custom 66cm from CL (I'm 6'8"). It may be a 1999, can anyone confirm? I was also wondering why no team Saeco decal? Perhaps a preference of the gentleman who had it built.

It did have Cinelli splash tape, but it needed to be replaced.

Most likely it's a 1998 or 1999. You can look for a two letter date code on the bottom bracket shell. See the serial numbers section. 66 cm frames were only sold as framesets, so no model numbers on them. The Saeco decals would have only been on the top of the line R4000 in 1998.
