Hey, I own a cannondale super v Raven 4000 carbon, that alone doesn't sound like a unicorn at all, but i got it with a lefty and it's a 1st gen Raven, it also has a yellow swingarm which isn't usual, it also has the spring on the chain ring (or however you call it), maybe I missed something but thats all that I can say for now.
So is thing at least a bit of a unicorn?
Do these things add value?

I don't think the bike is original. The Lefty didn't come out until the 2000 model year, the same year that the Raven frame was updated. Your frame and fork look to be from 1998, although the US catalog shows a yellow swingarm on the 3000 and a black one on the 4000. I think the idea of the Bikedrive crank was to provide some shock absorption while coasting with a good portion of the rider's weight on the pedals. Seems to me that it would be a lot more effective on a hardtail than a full suspension bike. There is one on eBay right now that the seller is asking $450 for.
