where my date code should be it says XL?

which is confusing as the frame is an XL..

Also my shock yolk looks different to all the other Jekyll's I see, whats going on?

Decal style looks to be 2002. That was the first year for the bar code stickers that indicate year. If you don't have a bar code decal it may have been removed.

I suspect that this is another Euro-spec model that doesn't appear in any of our catalog scans.
