Need a Replacement for Rear Derailleur Altus M192

Hi,
I have a 2016, Hybrid Adventure 2, with a Shimano Altus M192 Derailleur that recent failed at the hanger and got pretty bent up.
I have searched on line to no avail trying to locate a replace for this unit.
Any suggestions as to a replacement or at the least a replacement hanger. That way I might possible straighten out the cog plates and be back on the trail.
Thanks for any help,
Joel

I think that the M192 is the front derailleur. My guess is you have an Altus M370 rear. Check the back of the derailleur for a model number.
I would check Wheels Manufacturing for a replacement hanger.

Thank you Black Lightning!
You are correct, I misread the catalogue reference, and then checked the back of the derailleur, (was a bit mangled after the break!)
And sure enough it is an m370.

Only issue is trying to match that particular hanger at wheels. They have a lot so I’ll need to review carefully.
Thanks again,
Joel

There is usually enough description in their listings to figure out if they have what you need, but it can involve some measuring.

Hi! The Shimano Altus M192 is a basic 7/8-speed rear derailleur. You can replace it with most Shimano Tourney, Altus, or Acera 7/8-speed derailleurs—such as the Shimano RD-TX800 or RD-M310. For the hanger, check sites like derailleurhanger.com or your bike manufacturer’s website for a compatible part. Bring your bent hanger to a local bike shop; sometimes they can match or straighten it for you. Good luck!
