Super V, mock up.jpg

I have an assortment of spare parts that recently combined to form a Bike like object. Nothing here is rideable. Just threw a bunch of parts together to see what worked and what else I needed.

Frame is a 99 XL. Swingarm and Lefty were just purchased here via the for sale section. Other components were pulled from my 2015 FSi.

I took it out for a quick spin (virtually no brakes and derailleurs are not hooked up). really like it-.

This was kind of the last piece I needed to get the other parts of my bike projects going.

Another Super V like object. Picked this up on my way through CT while on vacation from an Ebayer who had it listed as local pick up only. Frame is 98 XL. I have been riding it exactly like I got around the cul-de-sac with the kiddos. I am surprised how many "wow, nice bike" I have received.

This one has a big booger weld and some "touch up" paint. This one I am stripping down , body work , check out the weld and probably make it my townie bike. . . . well I mean like 2 or 3 parts will be my townie bike.

And the reason why I originally titled the post "Super V Like Objects"

I have a 130BCD to 104BCD adapter on there that lets me run a 60T front connected to the 14t cog on the smart trainer. My guess is that no super V has ever seen a 60t before. I needed to do some grindersmithing on the crank arms -- so just some alibaba mtb hollowtech style cranks.

Another parts break but I wanted to post an interim shot while I figure out the rest of the plan.

The frame is a size L I purchased here on the forum. The frame makes an excellent trainer bc its easy for me or someone much shorter to hop on and adjust a bit. I plan on getting rid of the shock in favor of a fixed link and I plan on getting rid of the front rim and put it on just a post or something that way I can reduce the foot print. Also nice to have a short wheelbase bike to begin with.
