I have a Testors color that I thought looks close but it's a metallic. Interesting that all the metallic has settled to the bottom and for touch ups the metallic might not show up. I'll try to remember to post it.

Those tires would be good for me on most of my rides all year round, as most rides have some gravel miles. The tread doesn't look took aggressive, so should be fine on pavement. Surely weigh a bit more than road tires but not a factor for the riding I do.

Interesting comments about 8 vs. 9 speed chains. I'm having a bit of shifting issues with one of my SunTour 7 speed indexed bikes. I don't remember what chain I used but it's likely 9 speed - because I have lots of new ones.

The bike looks great. What fork and wheels did you choose? I have the same white/red CAAD9 with a Campagnolo 10 speed group. It would be nice to drop a kg but I suspect it would cost a lot of money.
