Longer brackets. drill new holes toward the front of the rack and/or bending the existing brackets where they bolt to the rack.

I have the same problem. I've been riding a Trek that has grips with a wide flat surface for the palm of the hand. Really comfortable compared to round grips.

I really like the 25 mm travel on my XS800. It's great for soaking up road shock on gravel and rough pavement. The same ride could be achieved with a bigger tire run at lower pressure but with an increase of tire weight and loss of efficiency.

I had never seen one for sale. I didn't realize that ebony painted examples got black/gold Superbe Pro and Gran Compe components. Too small for me but tempting for the components...

Great find. You could probably ride it with a long enough seat post but you might not like the saddle to bar drop. Hopefully someone in your family can ride it.

It's possible to start a ride with everything in proper adjustment but it only takes a fall, a stick, or other contact to mess it up. The number of rear wheels that have come my way with chain gouged spokes back me up on this. Most of my bikes don't have discs but I leave them on the ones that do.

The ST400 and ST600 were evidently available with graphics but I've never seen examples that had them.

I haven't looked at the results from the local Memorial Day crits. It's been years since I attended the races. Back when I attended there were always pro teams racing. Past winners include Jeff Bradley, Tom Shuler, Noel DeJonckhure, Robbie Ventura, and Hayden Godfrey.

Check with Cane Creek in NC. Replacing the complete headset is another option. Guessing these would work but I would check dimensions...

Is there a bar code sticker on the frame? The first letter would give the year of manufacture. N = 2002, O = 2003, P = 2004, Q = 2005, R = 2006, S = 2007

I've always liked my Team Blue R4000 but have never seen the other two paint schemes except in photos. I have a CAAD3 R4000 with the flip flop paint that's admittedly much flashier than Team Blue.
