I use several old touring bikes as gravel bikes. Rode my '85 earlier in the week. It has 32 mm CX knobby tubulars.

I think the range on the Road Warrior is 2001-2008. I've always wanted to try one but they seem relatively scarce. I think they will fit 32 mm tires (see 2007 400 and 500 specs) but most came with 25-28s.

The Pepperoni would be lighter than the steel fork. What diameter steerer does your fork have? The 1993-4 Pepperonis were 1.25", but later ones were 1.125". I assume that the frames that came with a steel fork had a smaller diameter head tube.

You might come close by mixing purples or adding blue or red to purple to get close. Hard to duplicate the Hyper-Highlight though, which I assume was a tinted clear coat.

I couldn't see that paint in any of the catalogs in the CAAD10 year range. 2011-2013 graphics had CAAD10 decals on the seat tube, later years did not have that decal. Is it 10 speed? 11 speed was introduced on the 2014 models. I doubt it's a repaint but I guess it's possible. We see lots of...

I saw some of these years ago on ebay but they were too pricey for me to consider buying.

You might start with a bit where it won't show, such as inside the dropout. Let it dry and see how it matches. You might be able to then add a bit of another color to get a closer match.

Welcome. Don't overlook the SR600. It had the same frame and fork as the higher end models and the 600EX stuff is really pretty nice.

Just by the catalog pictures, it appears that 1992 was the first year for the unicrown fork. But it's not unusual to see Cannondales that differ from catalog spec. I'd guess Tange was making the unicrown forks in 1990 and they may have been substituted because of a supply issue with the lugged...
