"E" would be made in 1993. So either a 93/94. The drop-outs are not like a 93. I would looks thru the catalogs to find the drop outs. Also, sometimes smaller frames had different builds.

And with road tires is the best way to ride this bike. The 1st gen and the 2nd gen both had recall issues. 1st gen i believe was the glue would separate. 2nd gen was I think... the seat post clamp would snap off, as well as the "bonded rear swing recall." 99/2k was a hard time for Cannondale...

What is cool about this bike, is Cannondale made just the frame. And probably in the USA. You can do anything to it and it will be a great bike. This bike is a 96/97ish. 27.2 post which is very common.

It depends. The 2st Gen Ravens were recalled because the glue would separate the frame. However, I would ride one. But not off road. Price is really up to the person interested. But they are a rare vintage bike. 1999 seams like yesterday. :)

This shock is the downfall of the 1st/2nd gen Jekyll's. They can be rebuilt. This is really the only way to have a shock on the rear. https://www.risseracing.com Risse did make a shock at one time. However, I would just rebuild the shock.

It looks like the paint is perfect. They lefty needs a new decal. Other than that. What are your plans? You could always pull off all the original drive train. Stash it in a box. And do a upgrade... that is what I would do. Maybe a 1x10 or something...

Yes. they are basically the same fork. 2000-01/02ish hubs had 4 bolt rotors. 03+ had 6 bolt.

Good score. It is made in the USA and a quality bike. Even for vintage... and really, even last years model is vintage. :cool:
