    Badly Stuck Bottom Bracket Cup

I'm very happy that you got it out. Looking forward to pics of the frame built up.

Maximun tire size for Cannondale Cyclocross 800 2004...

I haven't seen Pirellis here since the days of 20 mm tubulars, still have one of those. I will have to look around and see if they are distributed in the USA. I'm looking forward to seeing your bike.

Not sure what model I just got

If that were mine, I'd call it a 1999 F3000. Frame, fork, and paint are right for one. You can probably come up with most of the original parts but the Cane Creek wheels might be tough.

1994 Killer V900, what stem should it have

Are those for sale? Thanks for posting them. I couldn't find a close up picture of one. I may have a similar stem, but I think it's 1 1/8". Need to go looking for it.

I try to buy catalogs when I can find them, but most that turn up are duplicates of ones we already have. We do need better scans of some years. I just don't have enough free time for the job.

    Badly Stuck Bottom Bracket Cup

Sorry, I didn't think about it being a cup for a loose ball bottom bracket and how hard it would be. Kroil works where other penetrating oils won't. You can find it on eBay. About all I can suggest for gripping the cup is a better version of what you've done. Widen and deepen the slots and...

1994 Killer V900, what stem should it have

1993 Pepperoni forks (for rigid models) were 1 1/4" threaded and used quill stems. 1994 were threadless on all the MTBs except the 3.8 series. The stem that came with your KV was tig welded steel and has a plated finish. I'm pretty sure that the bolt for the fork clamp is hidden inside the...

Welcome Jim. I have a few in that era as well. Perhaps compare your bikes to those shown in the catalogs. It will be interesting to see how your bikes compare to the US models. It seems that a lot of bikes turn up in the UK and Europe that don't correspond to US models.

    M700 - 18"Frame - Black - Original Spec - In V.Good Condition

So complete bike then? If you are selling, you will get the most out of it by parting it out and selling the frameset separately.

    Badly Stuck Bottom Bracket Cup

Is it just the left side cup that is stuck? I would soak it with Kroil, give it a couple of good knocks laterally from each side (use punch from inside the BB shell), and see if it will budge. If not I might tap a couple of the pin holes out to 10-32 and screw in long cap screws. Lever...

1994 Killer V900, what stem should it have

I didn't find a 1994 KV900 in the catalog. Pictures would clarify the situation. That is the era of the 1 1/4" quill stems on rigid forks but threadless stems were used on the Headshok bikes. Not sure what you have.

    M700 - 18"Frame - Black - Original Spec - In V.Good Condition

Could be a 3.0 Series or CAAD2 frame. Here are some recent CAAD2 sales on eBay. If you have the original fork, it will add a fair amount to the value...

WANTED: Team Blue F-Series or Super V

Thanks, wasn't aware of the app. I have a Windows phone which I much prefer to the Android I tried - but lots of apps aren't available for Windows. I have Bluestacks app player on the PC which will sometimes run Android apps. Is the Craigslist app free? Jeez, if this works I might add...

Taking apart early grip shift (tandem 1990-ish)

You might want to replace the housing. Guessing that it's been on the bike a while. Inner liner can get full of gummy crud which can prevent the derailleur from easily moving from larger to smaller cogs, just from drag on the cable.

2000 Team Blue F800 Old Meets New

Looks great. Something similar is on my WTB list. Newest front suspension Cannondale in the stable is a 1992 SV900. Newest MTB is a 1995 M900.

Rear Disc Mounting alignment? Special adapter or spacing?

It would be nice to see pics of the original Coda setup. I'm wondering if they used a spacer too.

Taking apart early grip shift (tandem 1990-ish)

Once the cable is disconnected from the derailleur you should be able to slide the barrel that you twist off the end of the bar, pulling the cable with it. Once the cable is pulled far enough the barrel will come off and you can replace the cable. It's a standard 1.2 mm cable on this type of...

WANTED: Team Blue F-Series or Super V

Hmm, you post a WTB in March for two bikes, have them in June. Meanwhile I've been looking for a 1989 SM800 for over 10 years and have yet to see one, much less land one of the right size. Congrats on the purchases. They look like new.

Rear Disc Mounting alignment? Special adapter or spacing?

Mike, your input is appreciated. We need a few more knowledgeable members like you to check in and comment regularly. I'm interested in the question and answer, even though I've not owned a Cannondale with disc brakes. My first thought was that it might be something related to the Coda...
