Mountain Rigid
No other bike I have ever owned climbed like a Cannondale. I knew I had to own this one the moment I found it on Craigslist. The previous owner loved his bikes and it shows. He bought this bicycle for his wife; I believe it was in Michigan(?). They rode avidly, moved to NY and the bike began to see little road-time. Fortunately, the owner knew how to store the bike! With wheels removed, and moving parts covered, he stored it. Packed away in his garage, it just sat until they made a move to...

Found this on Craigslist. Was in bad condition; shifters were mismatched, dirty, and needed tuning (cables, dérailleurs, wheels and tires). I love how the taller guys looked on the 26ers in the early 90's, so I picked up the bike and the aim was to just overwhelm the bike with my stature. The results are what you see. I feel slightly big on the bike, but she is such a beauty, that I'm compelled to keep her. 24\" wheels on this '94 Cannondale MCX. Shimano everything. Thanks to: LBS...

No. 1 of 4. The first and the most beautiful!!! The frame was bought in the winter 90/91 and assembled with some of the best components on the market: groupset SHIMANO XT with thumbshifters 732, headset MAVIC 305, brake levers DIA COMPE SS-5, stem bar SALSA, seatpost RITCHEY (nitto 65), rims RICHEY VANTAGE COMP, tyres RITCHEY EXCAVADER and ELEVADER. Recently restored and repainted in transparent to leave in sight the smooth welds.

From 1996 till 2014, did a great job, been in places where no car would reach. Now it is stolen, I just hope the tief doesn't repaint it, the mango color is unique, it changes slightly during the day from yellow in the morning to dark orange at sunset, rewarding your ride.
Finally found one in near pristine condition - with the original Blue Brahma bar ends, blue Dia Compe brakes and so I decked it out in custom blue parts, cannondale blanck and blue seat, cannondale seat post etc.

The bike was bought from ebay as a bit of a mess... The bike was stripped and the frame shot blasted and powder coated in the closest red I could match to Cannondale red. Decals were bought of the ebay and are not great, there is a guy that now does better ones so I may swap these out. The build currently features XT thumbies with XT short cage mech running 8 speed, American Classic hubs on Mavic 217 SUP rims, FSA Ti b/b with Cook Bros crank and Pace chainrings, Club Roost riser bar, NOS...

I bought this Vintage Cannondale in Austria this year 2014, no use from 10 years ago... I don't know the model, I think a M700 or M800 from earlies 90s... someone have an idea?. It's really beautiful and riding it's like new. All components I think are original, Deore LX/XT, CODA and RITCHEY but still I didn't find another with this configuration and colours... maybe the previous owner made some changes... Thanks!!!.

This beautiful example is all original except for the tires and the upgraded 6 speed silver freewheel, the decals are fading and what remains is the classical orange line seen in others of its year. I will love to get some decals but the black bordered silver decals of 83-86 are not to be found. This is an 18\" frame, first year they came with the option of dual 26\" tires. Some scratches here and there and trying to find a similar color code. I know later years it was Viper red, although...

My third Cannondale. Bought this Beast about 6 months ago. Trued wheels and replaced wheel bearings and chain. New tires and tubes. I took it out for the first time yesterday in the snow. It was amazing! Easy to get the front wheel up, climbs like mad even on snow covered leaves! I quickly became used to the high bottom bracket, and the geometry and reach are perfect. I'm 6 ft tall, so the saddle looks odd elevated to that height, but it really works just great. I think a dropper...

i start biking in 1990 and i always love the cannondale hardtails (M,T,H models) from this era. i became this frame for 20€ with no paint (original was yellow) so i polished a little bit. most work was to change the 1 1/8 steerer P-Bone into 1inch. the frame is 20inch and to tall for me (1,70m) so i like the idea of an city+offroad bike. the bar shortened the toptube and now it is a 4speed cruiser ;) all parts are old or for free. costs of the bike around 100€ included chris king headset...

My dad got this bike from our neighbor years ago for little to nothing. He passed it down to me a few years ago and I absolutely love it! Put new cables, slicks and a Brooks B17 saddle on her and she rides like a dream! Everything else is completely stock. I have yet to see another with matching blue handlebars. This bike has sadly been temporarily retired. SN:8030487098. Thanks for looking!
