I traded a set of Mavic wheels for frame and fork. I had a Stars and Stripes 2002 Cannondale full Dura Ace that I then stripped and built this sweet ride. I sense then built up a Airborne Zeppelin titanium with full 2012 Ultegra. Thanks
Other than a couple of additions, this bike is pretty much all original. New tires, bar tape and a saddle is all. The turbo saddle was used- I think anyways - on other models in the same year. I still have the original factory saddle and tires knocking about somewhere. I could use some break hoods and I just fixed the busted cable tie. What can I say, I love this bike. Hand built in 88, full of sweet action and still fast as all hell. I get stoked every time I ride it. I like the way it came...
Purchased used (and well worn) in 2010. Repainted and restored to original color scheme. Decals purchased from vintagecannondale.com Original Shimano hardware and Wolber rims. Handlebar grip, saddle, and toe-clips by Brooks. Tires by Michelin.

This bike was supposed to be a quick clean and tune up for my wife to ride. Originally grey with pink decals, once I got into it, I found more corrosion than I was comfortable leaving. Sanded all the bad spots out, which took off about half the paint. Low quality paint left me with a finish I was not happy with. I stripped everything down to bare metal to start over, took a step back, and saw how cool it looked bare, showing the handwork of the blended tubes. Replacement decals from Vintage...

After two years of gathering dust in my neighbour's attic, it took some TLC and a few spare parts (new wheels) to get this baby back in road condition.

Got this one second hand from switzerland. Former owner upgraded it with a mix of Dura Ace 8-speed sti's, derailleurs, hubs etc. and Suntour Superbe brakes and crankset. I slowly upgraded to full Dura Ace 7700 9-speed group. Wheels are Dura Ace 7700 hubs laced to 28° Mavic Ceramic rims. Stem and post are good old Syncros, made in Canada. Still rides like a dream …

I found this local to me, I cleaned it up and it was like new underneath the grime. Added some parts and got it very similar to the stock version from the catalogue.

A 1987 Team Comp SR400 manufactured at the end of 1986.
SR2000 with original paintwork which would include the rail station front crest. It is equipped with the original Dura_Ace 7400 Series group set. Few minor changes include replacement of quill stem to modern clamp on, Campagnolo Rims and Brooks Professional saddle.

All original save for the bontrager racelite hardcase tires currently on the original Wolber Alpines and the Avocet O2 saddle. Will upload pics of drivetrain soon, just found the site! She was built in September of 86 but sold as an 87. 56cm. As of this week I've had her for six weeks and have put well over 600 miles on her without a hitch. Found on craigslist for $250.
