    1993? M500 color identification?

I’m new here and found myself reading older posts. Having said that, I just bought a 93 M500 in this color. Did @zarky ever find a paint code? Or other solution? I’ve got some nicks and scratches that would be nice to touch up. If not I’ll live with it.

    Back to Biking!!

Wait...I just discovered another model I like; Warrior 700 R. Saw an ad on KSL. Too bad it's a medium. Off to research the catalogs to find what years they were made. Heck with a modern gravel bike. The Warrior 700 R looks to fit the bill. That is if tires other than road tires will fit.....

    Back to Biking!!

Yes I have been perusing the vintage catalog section to discover what other models Cannondale sold in the past. I’m currently on the hunt for a Beast of the East. Just yesterday whilst perusing 1995, I saw the T1000 and T700. Don’t know why, but I like. I’m gonna have to get creative real quick...

    Gravel bikes

Now that you mention it, I believe I've seen F series listed for sale as a road bike. I thought it was odd. But I didn't click on the ad to see that it was a converted frame. Yes I recall the handlebars being different.

Anyone ever convert a frame into a gravel bike? Curious what frame(s) are good donors. Thanks

The overall pic was too large of a file. I’ll have to redo.

    One more for the stable?

The M500 came home with me. Surprised? No, not really… It’s been in storage for years. He has another Cannondale. An SM700. I let him know if he ever wants to part with it to let me know.

    One more for the stable?

I’m going to “look” at the M500 in the morning. It’s advertised as a 95. But thanks to the extensive catalog links I’ve tentatively identified it as a 1993. The color is a match for that year and the placement of the decals. Other items like the headset/steerer tube is older than 95. That path...

    One more for the stable?

After recently adding a Prophet to my small (2) collection of Cannondale’s I started contemplating finding another. Since I‘ve got a hardtail and a FS the next logical step is a rigid. The Beast of the East has caught my attention. But they’re few in my searches for sale. Let alone in LG or XL...

Ready to ride…after less than 5 minutes. False sense of security to be sure.

    Lefty Max 140 (‘07)

I will! Funny thing though. The brand new Kryptonite combo cable lock wouldn’t unlock last night. It has been locked/unlocked maybe a total of five times since we bought it. We parked outside a restaurant after picking up the bike. So I locked it up. I googled last night and came to the...

    Lefty Max 140 (‘07)

The afternoon wasn’t busy enough. Thoughts of a new to me Cannondale just kept popping up. A deal was struck via the hi-tech way of texting. I’ll pick it up tomorrow afternoon…. My name is IdahoBrett and I (might) have aproblem…..

    Lefty Max 140 (‘07)

I made a fair offer in my opinion and stuck to it. He came down but we were 100 bucks apart. I went home without the bike. I may yet hear from him I suspect. He has a garage full of various bike types. Cheers all…..

    Lefty Max 140 (‘07)

The day the seller and I are in town at the same time has arrived. I wasn’t the least bit worried about someone else buying the bike before I got a chance to look at it. His asking price is…$1100. I can’t afford that and I believe the value the value to be substantially lower than that. Anyway...

    Lefty Max 140 (‘07)

So I’ve got a line on a 2007 Prophet 4 Lefty. In great shape. I’ve done a fair amount of reading and searching. And the more I learn the less enthusiastic I am about buying the bike. Just the seal kit (kf225) is out of stock everywhere. Not to mention specialized tools. What would you fine...
