Professionnally repainted frame with far more discrete decoration, BIG maintenance done (new carbon fork, new headset, new chain, new cassette, new wheels, new brake pads, new cables, new saddle, new tyres --> it's better than new !) . Nice Campy Delta brakes looking good with the oversized tubes. Flatbar may be a crime on a race bike but transforms it to a super agile, still incredibly precise and far more comfortable bike.

Well I liked my ST500 so much that I added to my collection. This SR500 is also from 1985 same as my ST500 but in better shape cosmetically speaking. Both are great bikes.

I bought my 1990 ST600 as "new old stock" in 1991. I almost immediately flew it across the country set off on a loaded tour from San Diego to Albuquerque, on which it performed fabulously. It also took me on three 1000-mile circuits around Utah & Colorado while I was leading bike trips. But by 1996 I was in graduate school and barely riding. The bike languished and got dusty for 10 years before I pulled it out to ride in a couple "sprint" triathlons. In 2011 it got a major "refit"...

This is my 1985 Cannondale bike. It was given to me as a gift for helping a friend move. I just got it on the road 03/15/2012. Before that it had no tubes or tires. It has been in my garage for a couple years and I always wanted to fix it up, but I was unable to till recently. I am a novice to the cycling world. I use to ride a Peugeot bike on a daily biases about five years ago, however I moved to Florida and the Peugeot stayed behind. This Cannondale is by far the nicest bike I have...

2nd owner, purchased in 1989. Was built-up by the previous owner for more durability on long group rides. The upgrades by the previous owner included: Bullseye pulleys, Matrix Iso-C Aero rims laced with heavier gauge stainless spokes and Matrix hubs. Build date was in 11/87, and the exact color and component scheme is on pages 12-14 of the 1988 catalog. Very strong, light, and responsive. It had the following from the factory: full Shimano 105 group, including frame decals, brakes...

I received this bike because Cannondale replaced the first Cannondale Road Bike I had purchased, but I broke the bottom bracket so they said go to the shop and pick out your bike, so I did and this is the bike I still ride 22 years later. Its been updated with new ROL Wheels, a new Carbon-fiber fork, new bars and new stem. The crank is Shimano 600 and the Derailleurs are Dura Ace. I still have the shifters on the down tube, and will never change them, its like riding a wild horse, its fun...
Purchased this bike off ebay and hoped that it would be a simple spruce up prior to getiing on the road. However in the end it was a full strip down with a bit of repainting before adding some modifications. However after all the trouble it has turned into a good bike and after a first shakedown appears to ride well. I am not entirely sure of the model as I couldn't find it within the catalogues, however by the kit that was on it and the head tube badge I assume that it is a 98 R500. The...
