Sadly stolen in Chicago. This bike was bought originally by my brother as a race bike in the late 90's early 2000's. He rode it for many years. I bought it off him and for a while used it as a commuter single speed, with the intention of making it a full road bike once again. It was stolen in the summer of 2008 as pictured. Someday I will find this frame again and rebuild.
Built in 2008. Sram Red had just come out at the time and I had to have it, so I built this bike with some insurance money from a Caad 3 that had been stolen :( . Just over 14lbs with the deep carbon wheels. Not bad for a 58cm aluminum bike. Take that carbon.

The first Cannondale I ever owned. Outward appearance would make you think is was an SR500, but this bike never came with the \"Shimano 105\" labeling on the chainstay. When I bought it originally it was 7 speed, then technology advanced and I upgraded it to 8 speed, and then finally it was built with 9 speed. Now I have newer bikes so I restored it back to its' former glory with Shimano Dura Ace 7400 7speed. Still as much fun to ride as it was many years ago.

This bike has been featured before on VintageCannondale.. http://66.147.244.179/~vintagm8/node/530 The original owner was indeed correct, I have been having a blast with this bike. A few changes from the original setup: Had a mishap with a roof rack and a tree destroying the beautiful, previously mentioned, aero fork. I unfortunately could not find an original fork to replace it, or any 1\" threaded areo fork for that matter. Decided to upgrade to a Easton EC90 carbon threadless fork...
My first bike. Given to me by my Dad in 2002, but only started riding in 2011. I put roughly 100 miles a week on it. Controls were originally on the end of the aerobars, but I had them moved after a crash broke the plastic housing on the end. Shimano 105 set, 7-speed 53-42 700x20 Campagnolo wheels Scott bars
i love her.

My father-in-law's '87 SR 600. He ordered it brand new, had the gruppo changed to Dura-Ace, added Cinelli bars, rode it a couple hundred miles, then stopped cycling. It has been hanging in his basement for more than 20 years. I still cannot find a single scratch on it. I have updated it to a 10 speed rear. It is not hard to put the 130mm rear hub into a 126mm spacing.
I got a few years ago at a yard sale for $10!
