Can anyone help Id this frame ?

It depends on what your plan for the restoration is. Those cups could be original. But if you are going for a modern ride, modern parts. You would tap those cups out and get a new adapter set. If you are going for a new fork, they are all tapered. There are adapter cups for that. Just remember...

Can anyone help Id this frame ?

It looks like those are adapter cups inside. It is up to you how you will restore it, and what fork you choose. This would originally had a Headshox. Depending on what year and what model. And I agree, 97/98.

I had my bike stolen and was given this.......

its defiantly a 97/98. Maybe a M400. The XTR and XT are from the same year. Cannondale had crash replacement frames. They did not have the model number on it. This makes it more fun for us. This could have been the case with this frame. Good thing is you have a nice light frame, great fork. and...

Fatty SL "clunk" noise while rebounding

Very cool. Post pics if you can. And make sure you use the correct weight of oil. I should collect that info for a database.

Thoughts or ideas about the website?

Hello, this forum site is using XenForo. I use chrome everyday. The forum site is not using SSL. your home setting might be blocking it. "security" as for the site in 2. It would be a little hard to do that. I can add more categories for Road if anybody has any ideas.

Serial number that doesn't seem to fit the formula

6 56 10890090 It looks like you have a 56cm. And either a 89 or 1990. In 1989/90 they had confusion. Just like 1999/2k. your SN is either: 1-08-90 or 10-89 I am going for made in 1989. so either a 89 or 90... or it could be made in 1990...

    1991 SE Omega EST

I think a photo would be good. Any Omega has value. however, I feel the price of these bikes are falling. I just sold a red shred and a 85 26/24 for a lot lower than they used to be worth. Size also sets a price. If you could post a photo, I think that would help. The Omega and 1MB are one of...
