The XCD is kind of unique in having that plastic piece on the mount. I haven't taken a close look but I'm guessing that there is less spring force in the mount pivot if the little plastic block is missing. If you have a 1989 SM800, I'd like to see it.

You can get a rough idea of the model by comparing the components to other F series bikes in the catalog.

Microshift, Dimension, Shimano, Sunrace and SRAM still have them but there isn't much of a selection for any brand, and many models are out of stock right now in the USA. I might have something on the shelf, depending. Also have a box full of NOS Uniglide cogs if you want to go that route...

I found several Edge and 4050 derailleurs here including a couple that are NOS. Unfortunately none are black. I have a couple of more places to look.

What year is your BL? They used different models of RDs depending on year.

My guess is that all the Headshok boots are the same except for color. Mendoncyclesmith is the first place I would check for one.

Shimano FDs are quite specific once you get beyond the 9 speed era. Sounds like you have it sorted out.

Looks great, like all of your bikes. I did weigh my CAAD6. It's a 60 cm, has Record 10, hollowgram crank and Neutrons. It weighed 18.6 with no pedals. Doubt I could find 1.6 lbs. to take out of it.
